HOLO diviners magical baskets are rare and little known. One can be seen in the MET's collection (Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York). Another was presented by Loudmer in 1988 as a reliquary. Another one was presented by Aguttes in 2010 and then by Neumeister in 2011. A similar basket was sold by Zemanek (picture on demand) and another by Bonhams in 2013. Finally, currently, a colleague purposes one, presented as Yaka.
The Holo (or Baholo) are a people established in Angola and Congo DRC,
on the banks of the Kwango River.
