Superb jug, visibly old
A container of the same type can be seen illustrated in Félix, page 203, fig 19.
Zande pottery is made by women, just like that of the neighbouring Mangbetu.

Zande pottery is made by women, just like that of the neighbouring Mangbetu.
The Zande live mainly in northern Congo DRC, but also in western South Sudan and the Central African Republic.
