Pretty jug, obviously old
The same typical scarifications can be seen on the body of the container illustrated in Felix, page 203, fig 19.
Zande pottery is made by women, just like that of the neighbouring Mangbetu.

The Zande live mainly in northern Congo DRC, but also in western South Sudan and the Central African Republic.
